I propose that everyone in the FC has a chance to gather end-game gear once they reach level 50 and it is done in a friendly, casual way.
People who are reaching 50 for the first time shouldn't be expected to know how to run HM Primals and should be given a fair amount of time to learn how to do it without being yelled at.
I propose, once a fair number of us reach 50, we set a time either nightly or bi-nightly where we can gather in an 8 man group and run through some of the dungeons and primals a few times. We can then make a list of who has and needs certain gear.
This will both equip us for future content and give us an opportunity to meet one another. Right now, the duty finder allows us to essentially skip any social activity. I'm assuming that later on, some content will require cohesion between teammates who are familiar with each other and might not even be accessible from the duty finder.
This can also give us a better idea of who has what jobs at level 50 - providing information for future "raids."
1. We need to get more people using this site or make a sub-reddit or..something. It's really hard to convey anything longer or more detailed via FC chat.
2. I'm fine with anything except Tues/Wed. So I could go to events on all those other days. It only needs to be a couple evenings a week at a set time where we run a dungeon a few times and make sure people pass on gear they already have and so on. This prevents random people from rolling "greed" on stuff that someone actually needs but can't roll need on because he's helping on a different job.
This can be done by pre-run declaration of what you need and someone can maintain a g-docs spreadsheet of it. For example, someone could post in a thread "I need Ifrit HM MRD axe" and it could be put on the sheet that he gets dibs on it. For now it can be first come-first serve. If raiding gets busy and intense, we can start implementing point systems to prevent people from joining one run, getting the item and leaving.
As I said in the first post, this will also help us keep track of who needs what gear and what classes everyone has available for raiding.
p.s. it would be nice if a guild master/leader could control loot rolling on FC-only runs. That would be a cool feature for them to add.
